Thistle is a great-grand of Stefania Dignum's 'Grey Pet',
one of the second flock of imports to North America of Icelandic sheep.
Thistle shares the large rumen and wonderful horning as well as thick, soft thel-dominant fleece of her ancestor. This white Icelandic beauty has a calm and friendly disposition.
She is large and chesty, and an attentive milky mother to her fast-growing lambs with great fleeces.

Catalpa has amazingly fine and soft wool, almost all thel, and is a sweet and lively girl. She is a horned,
solid, spotted moorit. She has excellent conformation and favors her leader-like lineage with long

Oberon is a fine example of an Icelandic ram with fantastic horning,
long fleece with thick thel, and a very stocky broad build with very
muscular neck, shoulders, back and rump.
He passes a great build on to his lambs and they have had lovely fleeces.
His grandfather is the AI sire Kari, an Icelandic Southram Station AI ram (93908)
with an amazing wool score of 9.5 out of 10. Oberon has a very gentle disposition and is
extremely manageable. He stands still to be sheared without restraint and wags his tail!
Oberon successfully bred all exposed Icelandic ewes over two years.

Oberon has sired several non-spotted lambs with spotted ewes,
proving that he carries at least one non-spotted gene. His other
spotting gene remains unproven. Two of his white offspring
have a single small patch (2 or 3 cm, about an inch) of color.
Is this a hole in the white pattern or does it indicate spotting?
His offspring have also exhibited patches of phaeo on white, and flashing in a solid fleece.
